The Village of Wilmette is a North Shore town located on the scenic shores of Lake Michigan. It is recognized as a family-oriented community that values children and education very highly. The Village is served by Pace Bus Service, CTA rapid transit, and the Metra Railroad Service (commuter train line to Chicago.) If you are driving by car, the Edens Expressway runs through the western part of Wilmette and has an on-ramp at Lake St.
